PURPOSE:To prevent crystallization of a selenium compound photosensitive body without causing the drop of an electrifying function of heavy doping of a photosensitive layer, and to obtain a copy image in good quality for extremely many times by making a noble metal element of the first group of a periodic law table exist on the surface of a developer carrying member. CONSTITUTION:The gap between a sleeve 12 which is applied with copper plating to the outside surface, and a selenium photosensitive layer 2 containing 5.5atom% tellurium vapor-deposited to 52mu thickness onto a drum 1 opposed to said sleeve 12 is set to 0.5mm., the layer 2 is rotated in the direction as indicated with an arrow (a), a magnetic drum 11 is rotated in the direction (c), the sleeve 12 of 40mm.phi is rotated in the direction as indicated by an arrow (b) at 150rpm, copying is executed by A4 size under the atmosphere of 33 deg.C temperature and 80% relative humidity, and the copy in good quality is obtained. In addition to copper, any noble metal element of the first group of a periodic law table is applicable to the surface of the sleeve 12. |
