PURPOSE:To keep the degree of vacuum, to enhance mechanical strength and to improve productivity, by using metal such as stainless steel for an inner tube, an outer tube and the like, which are main constituent members, and performing machining. CONSTITUTION:An inner tube 2 is formed in a cylindrical shape by using, e.g., stainless steel. A package 7 having an infrared-ray detecting element 6 is provided at one end surface thereof. A flange 4 made of, e.g., Cobal, is bonded to the other end surface thereof. An outer tube 3 is formed in a cylindrical shape by using, e.g., stainless steel. One ond surface thereof is bonded to the flange 4. At the other end surface thereof, a window 5 is fixed through a metal hollow O ring 14 by a cap 15. The O ring 14 is formed by, e.g., stailess steel. A plated layer of silver or the like is provided on the surface. Therefore, the degree of vacuum is kept for a long time, mechanical strength is high and productivity can be improved. |
