PURPOSE:To obtain a fixing device for preventing an indistinctness of a toner image due to an optical reflection by executing a matte working of 1-300mum to a roller surface which contacts to the toner image. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a roller 1 is unevenly finished 3 like the surface of a pear of a fruit. Therefore, the surface of a toner image fixed by the roller 1 is uneven, reflects irregularly an incident light, therefore, the toner image fixed to paper does not shine, and a good toner fixed image is obtained. As for a surface roughness of the outside surface of the roller, about 1-300mum is good experimetally. In this case, if the surface roughness is <=1mum, the toner image becomes a luster surface, and if it is >=300mum, the toner image is apt to become a rough image virtually. As for said matte finishing method of the surface of the roller, it is convenient to execute a sand-blast treatment. Also, it is allowed to execute a treatment of a resin coating 4, etc. of thickness of 5-100mum after executing an uneven treatment. |
