PURPOSE:To produce a dry ice product having high hardness, resistant to sublimation, and suitable for dry ice blast, etc., by compression molding snow dry ice under a pressure above a specific level. CONSTITUTION:Liquid carbon dioxide produced by compressing carbon dioxide gas at a low temperature is subjected to the adiabatic expansion to obtain snow dry ice. The snow dry ice 4 is filled in a molding machine 2 (1 is table), the pressed under a pressure of about >=150kg/cm<2>.G (preferably >=500kg/cm<2>.G) for about >=10sec (preferably >=15sec), and the formed material is crushed and pulverized to obtain the objective dry ice product. |
