PURPOSE:To enhance the dimensional precision of a head track position on a fixed base by making auxiliary plates, between which a magnetic core part is interposed, partially shorter to expose the face opposite to the tape sliding face of a magnetic core part and using this exposed part as a head track height positioning part. CONSTITUTION:An operating gap (g) is formed by a pair of thin plate-shaped magnetic cores 7, and auxiliary plates 8a and 8b are stuck to both faces of magnetic cores 7, namely, with a head track width W between themselves, and an exposed part 7a is provided in a part. When the exposed part 7a of magnetic cores 7 is matched to a reference face 10 of a fixed base 9 to join them into one body by adhesion, the reference face 10 of the fixed base 9 and the head track end are on the same plane; and thus, the head track height is kept high-precision. |
