发明名称 LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY CELL
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a liquid crystal display cell which is hardly breakable and has excellent resilience, heat resistance and isotropy by constituting a pair of transparent substrates of a silicone polymer consisting essentially of the chemical formula Si-OSi. CONSTITUTION:Substrates 1, 2 are constituted of a transparent silicone polymer having 0.7mm. thickness and conductive films 3 having about 1,000Angstrom thickness are formed on the opposed surfaces thereof by using a material consisting of In2O3-SnO2. Oriented films 4 are further formed on the substrates 1, 2 by coating a 7% aq. soln. of PVA thereon and drying the coating for 30min at 150 deg.C. The surfaces of the films 4 are rubbed by a cloth contg. titanium. A sealant 5 is formed between the substrates 1 and 2 and the substrates 1, 2 are adhered to each other and are loaded then the substrates are heated for 60min at 150 deg.C to form a cell. A liquid crystal 6 is packed into the cell through an injecting port and the injecting port is sealed. Polarizing plates are adhered to the surfaces of the plates 1, 2 by which the liquid crystal display cell is obtd.
