PURPOSE:To form slubs of a random length at a random arrangement interval, by using a random number controller having a random number controlling circuit of slub shape and slub forming pitch in a slub forming zone and a solenoid clutch together. CONSTITUTION:Clutch plates are disengaged by excitation of a spring closed type solenoid clutch (M.C1), and a front bottom roller R1 continues to rotate in a decelerated state by the influence of inertia. The delivery of a roving yarn 10 from the front roller R1 is not stopped, and a roving slub yarn 10 having irregular slubs 11 formed along the longitudinal direction is wound onto a bobbin. The length and arrangement interval of the slubs 11 are randomly set by selecting the pulse signaling conditions of a pulse signaling impeller 1 by dial operation of an operation switch mechanism 5, and converting generated pulse signals through a random number controller circuit 2 into given random numbers. |
