PURPOSE:To decrease noise and consumption of electricity with a simple and economical means by providing an elastic member in the rear of a leaf spring of an impact head device. CONSTITUTION:A movable iron core 3 is attracted to a fixed iron core 8 against a spring force of a leaf spring 2 by a magnetic force of a permanent magnet 7. At the time of printing by supplying a coil 10 with electricity the attraction force of the permanent magnet 7 is weakened and the movable iron core 3 is released and a hammer 1 hits a platen 11 by the spring force of the leaf spring 2. Subsequently, if the feeding of the electricity to the coil 10 is suspended, the permanent magnet 7 attracts the movable iron core 3 towards the fixed iron core 9 and the hammer 1 is pulled back from the platen 11 and the tip of an arm 2a of the leaf spring 2 is brought into contact with a silencer member 6 made of elastic material on a front board 5. By the above the descending speed of the iron core 3 is decreased. Further, by being attracted by the fixed iron core 9 and after descending and landing, and by being brought into contact of the arm 2a with the silencer member 6, and by elastic deformation and deflection of the leaf spring 2, the speed of the cores 3 to 9 at the time of an impact is decreased, resulting in the decrease of the impact noise. |
