PURPOSE:To readily clamp and unclamp a throw away tip by maintaining the clamping condition of the tip constant under the wedge action of a pressure body. CONSTITUTION:One end of an L-shaped clamp body 9 is on position of the hole 24 of a tip (cutting tool) 3 with the tip 3 clamped or unclamped to or from the concave section 5 of a tip holding section 2. A tip clamp section 4 forms a wedged pressure body 8 and moves vertically in the through hole 23 of another end of the clamp body 9. The pressure body 8 is vertically moved by a clamping bolt 7 in the direction of 14b and 14a making the pressure body 8 firmly clamp the tip 3 to the tip holding section 2 under the wedge action and unclamp it from the tip holding section 2 respectively. |
