Guide rail profile for roller door leaves which has an approximately U-shaped cross-section, the legs of which are in each case offset inwardly towards one another and bear at their freely running-out, parallel leg end regions in each case sliding strips which border the leg end regions and between the mutually facing parallel sliding surfaces of which engaging side end regions of the door leaf panels are guided in the longitudinal direction of the profile, which profile, for the purposes of easy manufacture and making available a secure grip of the sliding strips on the leg end regions even with great wind-loading, is designed in such a manner that the end edges of the freely running-out leg end regions are shaped so as to be bent laterally out of their course directed parallel to the door leaf plane and engage in recesses of the sliding strips, which are shaped to end in a laterally bent manner inside the sliding strips, corresponding to this cross-section shape of the leg end regions.
