The glass is first put in a mould and a small opening made in it while it is still formable. The glass is permitted to solidify until the item is able to retain it shape. The mould is general and the item removed. A pressurised medium e.g. compressed air is introduced through the opening via e.g. a needle to form the cavity. At the same time the outside of the item is shaped. |
