<p>PURPOSE:To produce a tile with a two-color geometrical pattern in a simple manner, by molding three sheets in a mold having a geometrical pattern, and abrading the surface of the molded item. CONSTITUTION:Three types of sheets are produced by compounding and kneading, and are cut into a certain shape, and two of them which will form surface patterns are placed in a mold having a profiled geometrical pattern. Then the remaining sheet that will serve as a packing is placed followed by press molding. The surface of the molded item is abraded in such a way that an abrasive paper is mounted on a belt sander apparatus to carry out abrading twice and then the surface abrading once, and after water-washing and drying, a wax is applied to the surface.</p> |
