The prefabricated roof frame, for the construction of buildings, for different roof shapes and roof pitches, comprises a principal-girder part (1) and a roof-girder part (2), adapted to the roof shape and roof pitch in question, which is placed on top of the principal-girder part (1). The principal-girder part has parallel upper-chord and lower-chord edges (3, 4) and, on its bearing ends (13, 14), upper-chord slopes (5, 6) which are trapezoidally inclined from the upper-chord edge to the lower-chord edge. The ends (9, 10) of the roof-girder part (2) preferably adjoin said upper-chord slopes with the same angles of inclination. In order to connect a support and a bearing end of the roof frame, the support exhibits a connecting bar which projects from the bearing surface of the support and engages in a through-hole in the bearing end of the roof frame, which through-hole is filled in when assembly has been completed. Canopy structures can be suspended on the connecting bar by means of reinforcing bars, which structures are supported on an outer end surface of the roof-frame end and of the support. <IMAGE>
