发明名称 FUZZING CONDITION MEASURING APPARATUS
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable quantitative measurement of fuzzing condition including the density and length of fuzz with a better reducibility by measuring the damping level of an ultrasonic wave due to fuzz on the surface of cloth, paper, artificial leather and the like having a fuzz on the surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic wave radiated from an ultrasonic wave transmitter 1 is introduced to an ultrasonic wave incident end 7 of a clearance 6 formed by objects 4 and 4' with a horn 3 and damped depending on fuzz on the surface of the objects 4 and 4' to be measured while propagating in the direction of the arrow 10. The damping level of the ultrasonic wave has a correlation with the length and density of the fuzz; the longer and the higher in the density the fuzz, the larger the damping level of the ultrasonic wave. Thus, the condition of the fuzz can be measured quantitatively by receiving the ultrasonic wave level after the fuzz passes through the clearance 6 with a ultrasonic wave receiver 8.
