PURPOSE:To execute paper feed action stably by transmitting printer platen rotation to a roller through a pinion, a motion transmission mechanism, gear and planetary gear. CONSTITUTION:The rotation in arrow A direction of a gear 53 of a platen 51 is transmitted to a gear 11 through pinions 2, 3, pulleys 4, 6, a timing belt 5, a drive shaft 7 and a sleeve 16 to rotate a planetary gear 12 around a shaft 19 in arrow E direction and at the same time, put said gear in planetary motion against a shaft 7. Then the gear is caused to rotate around the shaft 7 together with a bracket 14 in arrow F direction and to stop by the contact of the upper surface of a stopper 17 with the lower surface of a stopper plate 36 protruding from a side plate 36a. Following this action, a pickup roller 13 connected to the gear 12 is caused to rotate, and a printing paper 61 which contacts with the pickup roller 13 is fed out in a platen direction 51. Next, the paper is caused to reach a first pressure roller 54 from above guide boards 33, 56 and finally is fed to the platen 51 by means of the roller 54 and a second pressure roller 55. |
