PURPOSE:To hold satisfactorily a cassette in a mounting condition with simple structure by setting the turning locus of the lid main-body inner-surface so that it will pass the inner side rather than the front-surface terminal part of the cassette case in an open-lid condition, and regulating the turning in the open-lid direction. CONSTITUTION:A protruded part is provided at a cassette case 11, a recessed part and a sliding contact surface are provided at both arm parts 16 of an opening/closing lid 14, and the lid 14 is set so that it will not be held with a half- open lid by regulating shift in the arrow F2 direction, which shows turn of the lid. In a closed-lid condition, the protruded part is inserted to the recessed part, and the lid is locked. In an open-lid condition, the inner front terminal part of a lid main body 15 is abutted on a curved surface part of the case 11, and they are connected. Therefore, closed-lid direction turn is regulated. Therefore, only the cassette side can hold the lid 14 in the opening condition, and the structure near the cassette storage part can be simplified by requiring no extra force on the recording regenerator side. Thus, the occurrence of playing and dislocating can be prevented by holding satisfactorily the cassette in the mounting condition.
