In a contact spring block for relays having contact springs which are arranged in parallel rows in the form of contact sets, the ends of the contact springs which are used for making contact on the outside, and the totality of the contact springs toward a drive system are covered by walls of the contact spring block. Each contact spring of the contact spring set is in a separate chamber from the associated other contact spring, as a result of an intermediate wall which exposes only the contact-making part of the contact springs. In order to ensure a condition and contact-following inspection of the individual contact springs from the exterior, it is provided that the housing cap consist of a transparent plastic material, at least in its part which covers the contact chambers.
