<p>A connector (4) for orthodontic headgear includes a casing (7) for a helical compression spring (10) one end of which engages the head (9) of a rod (8) extending through the spring and through a sleeve (11) which engages the other end of the spring. The sleeve is supported in an aperture (12) in the end (5) of the casing (7) and is adjustable axially relative to the casing for adjusting the spring force. The connection is disconnectible by providing a metal clip (37) securable to a headcap (1) having legs (39) engageable in grooves (43) in the casing (7).</p> |
