The filler proportion determined by TV-bit 3/72 is formed by a mixed filler comprising rock meal and silicic acid, it originally being proposed to use the natural product kieselguhr, whose relatively broad scattering range with respect to the SiO2 content of between 70 and 90% and the maximum bulk density of 0.3 kg/dm<3> prevents precise establishment of the results to be expected. Together with the further development, the aim was to reverse the dependencies of the known quality parameters in so far as high deformation resistance, even in summer temperatures, is obtained at the same time as high compactability together with a reduction in the roll openings. This has been achieved by preparing the mixed filler quasi-homogeneously from rock meal having a bulk density of 1 kg/dm<3> and from synthetic silicic acid having a mean bulk density of 0.2 kg/dm<3>, and introducing this mixed filler and the binder into the preheated aggregates and mixing the components.
