The invention relates to a switch socket for flush-mounting having a hollow-cylindrical base body which is provided with a base and, in the sheath or in ribs which run in the axial direction and are arranged on the inner surface of its cylindrical sheath, has two diametrically arranged, axially running holes or axially running attachment holes. In order to adapt this switch socket in as uncomplicated a manner as possible to different depths of the retaining holes and of the retaining recesses for the sockets a hollow-cylindrical component is provided, which is used as a cylindrical extension of the switch socket and whose external diameter is equal to or less than the internal diameter of the hollow-cylindrical base body and than the distance between the two ribs, and which can be inserted into the hollow-cylindrical base body and can be fixed at different insertion depths by means of a continuous or stepped adjustment. <IMAGE>
