The invention relates to a pipe connecting device for a metal pipe having a conical metallic flange ring which can be pressed into the pipe end in a sealing manner, expands said pipe end and can be pressed in a sealing manner against a connecting piece in the axial direction by means of an end which projects from the pipe end and is constructed as a cylindrical attachment, which connecting piece is connected by means of a connecting component to the expanded pipe end, the connecting component pulling the pipe end and the connecting piece in the axial direction against one another, with the inner cone, with the interposition of an annular component. In this case, the annular component is constructed as a compression ring which, after insertion of the flanged ring into the free pipe end, is fixed on the outside of the pipe end, pressing the pipe end onto the conical outside of the flanged ring.
