A heat-sealable, polyolefinic multilayer film is described which is also readily printable and comprises a base layer of a propylene polymer and at least one heat-sealable layer. The heat-sealable layer comprises a combination of a) from 67.5 to 89.6% by weight, based on the total weight of the heat-sealable layer, of an olefin resin composition comprising a copolymer or terpolymer made from ethylene, propylene, butylene or further alpha -olefins having 5 to 10 carbon atoms, or mixtures thereof, b) from 5 to 15% by weight, based on the total weight of the heat-sealable layer, of a low-molecular-weight resin which is compatible with the olefin resin composition, c) from 5 to 15% by weight, based on the total weight of the heat-sealable layer, of a propylene homopolymer, d) from 0.3 to 1.5% by weight, based on the total weight of the heat-sealable layer, of a polymethylphenylsiloxane, and e) from 0.1 to 1.0% by weight, based on the total weight of the heat-sealable layer, of a silicate having a leaf-like structure, and the film has been corona-treated on at least one surface in order to improve the printability.
