发明名称 METODO PARA EL CONTROL DE LA POLUCION DEL AIRE COMBINADO CON LA RECUPERACION SEGURA Y EL CONTROL DE LOS GASES DE UN RECIPIENTE CONVERTIDOR DE ACERO SOPLADO POR EL FONDO
摘要
The converter vessel has an opening over which there is a movable hood connected to a gas exhaust system. A tuyere communicates with the interior of the converter at a level below the molten metal surface. Oxygen is delivered through the tuyere during a first period of the process cycle to permeate the molten metal and oxidise carbon contained in the melt. Initially off-gas having a relatively small quantity of combustible constituents. At the beginning of the first period a separation is maintained between the hood and the vessel, sufficient to permit the inflow of air to oxidise the combustible constituents. - The separation of the hood from the vessel is maintained as combustible constituent production increases until stoichiometric conditions of combustion exist between the combustible constituents and oxygen from the drawn in air. This produces an inert gaseous mixture in the hood and purges the exhaust system of combustible constituents. During the second part of the first period the gap is reduced and oxygen continues to be delivered so that the increased quantity of combustible constituents and other off gases produced during a subsequent continuous oxygen delivery do not undergo combustion. - During the second period oxygen continues to be delivered through the tuyere until the quantity of combustible constituents in the off-gas is substantially diminished. The hood is then separated a sufficient distance from the vessel opening over an interval during the third period to permit drawing in sufficient air to completely oxidise the combustible constituents of the off-gas and again produce an inert gaseous mixture in the hood and gas exhaust system. - The use of the collected gases reduces the costs required to meet air pollution standards. Gas combustion does not occur at the vessel mouth so the evolved gases can be analysed and used to control or indicate the status of the heat.
