PURPOSE:To attain a display without losing the original form of the image data by comparing the extension of the picture data with the size of a reception memory and inhibiting the reception of the part where the extension of the picture data exceeds the size of the reception memory. CONSTITUTION:An image data (g) having a larger size than a display screen is sent to a screen buffer 32a. At the same time, a digit number counter 4 and a row number counter 5 count the numbers of digits and rows respectively. When the value (m) of the digit number of display capacity is counted, a write inhibition signal (a) and a processing area-over detecting signal (b) are delivered continuously until a line feed flag f1 showing the end of a row is detected. A changeover switch 6 is actuated by the signal (a). Meanwhile the data (g) is not sent to the buffer 32a. Then the connection of the switch 6 is set to its original state by a detection signal f1, and the next row is also counted in the same way. When the counter 5 counts up to the row number (r), a write inhibition signal (c) is delivered continuously until a line feed page flag f2 showing the end of a screen is detected. |
