The rainwater recovery system, especially for use with a veranda or lean-to, consists of a gutter (8) inside the roof, running along the whole length beneath the top edge and flashing, with guides (9) to feed any penetrating water into the gutter. - The water collected in the gutter is carried along to the end of the roof and allowed to flow down further guides inside the sides of the roof for removal.
