PURPOSE:To enable correct and easy assembling of casting molds by adding and mixing prescribed dyes with molding sand for multiple kinds of casting molds in a mixed production line so that the casting mold parts can be identified by colors. CONSTITUTION:A gate 9 is moved downward by a shaft 8 to open the bottom open end 6a of a cylinder 6 for guiding molding sand thereby dropping the molding sand (a) through the clearance (b) in a supply cylinder 7 and a guide cylinder 6 into a storage chamber 2 in the bottom of a blow tank 1. At the same instant the value 12 of a pipe 12 is opened to introduce the color powder (d) stored in a hopper 11 into the cylinder 7 to mix uniformly the powder with the sand (a). Air is blown through an air introducing port 4a into an air introducing chamber 3 to feed the colored sand (a) in the chamber 2 through the discharge port 2b of the bottom surface 2a into the cavity 20b of a metallic mold 20. The casting mold parts color-coded by the kind of machine and parts are thus formed by providing the prescribed color to the sand (a) in the above-mentioned way, by which the assembling error in the stage of assembling the casting mold is prevented. |
