An electric contactor, e.g. of the vacuum type, comprises a unitary member (38) formed (preferably molded) from insulating material and including a pair of generally cruciform trunnion portions (90) on opposite ends thereof, each trunnion portion being disposed and firmly engaged in an annular bearing member, e.g. the inner race of a ball or roller bearing (48), which is rotatably supported in a frame (14).
