MAGNET ROLL FOR MAGNETIC BRUSH DEVELOPMENT

PURPOSE:To obtain a roll which has a constant magnetic force in the axial direction and does not generate nonuniformity of image by rotatably comprising a round bar type magnet having uniform density in the longitudinal direction of magnetic pole within a cylindrical non-magnetic sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A composite material consisting of magnetic particle 13 consisting of ferrite particle having completed magnetic antisotropy processing and a bonding medium 14 is caused to pass through a mechanical orientation apparatus 15 consisting of a rotating roll and thereby particle 13 in the medium pipe 14 is magnetically orientated in the rolling direction. A required number of sheets of sheet magnet material obtained are stacked and is cut in the direction at the right angle to the rolling direction in accordance with the pole length of roll in order to obtain the stacked materials 17. The stacked material is then held by the bottom force 18 and top force 19 having the concaved groove like a sector with a constant interval. Thereafter, it is also cut into the magnetic pole pieces 21. These pieces are attached at the periphery of shaft 22 of roll.
