PURPOSE:To attain an operation between vector elements by means of a normal inter-vector arithmetic means by producing a partial vector using L units of elements among N units of elements of a vector and handling this partial vector as an independent vector. CONSTITUTION:A vector A serving as a subject for operation between vector elements is stored to the 1st vector store means 1, and a partial vector B of the vector A can be delivered. This output of the vector B is supplied and stored to the 2nd vector store means 2. Another partial vector C having different elements from the vector B or different orders of elements is defined as an input of an inter-vector arithmetic means 3 among partial vectors of the vector A of the means 1. While the vector B of the means 2 is supplied to the other input of the means 3. Then an operation is carried out between corresponding elements of both input vectors B and C. |
