PURPOSE:To attenuate abrupt swing operation by adding a float arm braking mechanism composed of an impeller which is arranged in the liquid in a liquid storage tank and operates a float arm. CONSTITUTION:When the liquid level rises above a vertical wall 11c during injection into a fuel tank body through an injection port, part of fuel flows into the liquid storage tank 11 from an intake through an opening 13 while the air charged in the liquid storage tank 11 is discharged through an air hole 15, so that the impeller 12 is dipped in the liquid. When a vehicle such as an automobile turns and the liquid level of the fuel in the tank body slants to cause the float arm to swing abruptly, the impeller 12 is rotated by the swing operation of the float arm 4 and fluid resistance is generated by the fuel in the liquid storage tank 11 and transmitted to the float arm 4 to attenuate the abrupt swing operation of the float arm 4. |
