<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the size of rotary system by gearing a drive pinion fixed to the journaling end of nozzle blade with a drive gear wheel arranged at the nozzle inner ring side. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas will flow through nozzle blade 3 and turbine blade 7 to be discharged through gas outlet casing 2. Upon rotation of drive gear wheel 115, a drive pinion 311 will rotate. Consequently, the nozzle blade 3 will rotate to vary the nozzle blade 3 in accordance to the engine operating condition thus to control rotation of turbine blade 7.</p> |
