PURPOSE:To obtain a color image by only one operation of exposure and one operation of development on a plain paper without any special treatment by using toner particles contg. a colored dye sublimable and decolorable with heating and a colorless dye capable of developing, together with a color developer, a color complementary to the color of said heat sublimable dye. CONSTITUTION:Toner particles composed of a sublimable colored dye 1, a colorless dye 2 capable of developing in a complementary color of the dye 1, a color developed 3, a styrene polymer 4, and a water-soluble polymer 5 are used and when they are heat fixed, the colored dye 1 is sublimed and made colorless vacancy 1', and the colorless dye 2 and the color former 3 become colored states 2', 3'. For example, when Eisen Malachite Green GH green sublimable dye 1, Rhodamine-B-anilinolactam magenta type colorless dye 2, and 4,4'-isopropylidenediphenol 3 are used, and heated, the dye 1 is sublimed to become colorless vacancy 1', and the dye 2 and the color former 3 become the magenta color of Rhodamine B, and the green color before heating is converted into the magenta color complementary to the green by heating. |
