GAS LASER WORKING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To stabilize laser working by setting discharge current to a specified value except during working time and operating cooperatively a mechanical shutter and a control circuit for laser oscillation thereby changing over discharge current. CONSTITUTION:The discharge current in a laser tube 1 is supplied from a high- pressure DC power source 2. Laser light 8 is irradiated via a mechanical shutter 4 and a reflection mirror 5 to the work 7 on a working table 6. The shutter 4 sets the discharge current of the tube 1 at a prescribed constant value in the non-working stage cooperatively with a control circuit 3 for oscillation and changes over the same to the discharge current meeting working conditions in the stage of working while the shutter is open. The laser output is stabilized by such mechanism and the stability of laser working is consequently improved.
