PURPOSE:To raise the plant efficiency through operation of a generator in optimum condition with the highest efficiency, by setting a hydrogen gas pressure regulating and controlling mechanism in a hydrogen cooling type generator, and controlling the hydrogen gas pressure according to the system load. CONSTITUTION:In a combined cycle electric power plant, electric power is generated by a hydrogen cooling type generator 3, combining a gas turbine with a steam turbine. The hydrogen gas is supplied to the inside 9 of the generator 3, by a hydrogen gas pressure regulating valve 10. The hydrogen gas pressure in the inside 9 of the generator 3 is made to be the optimum pressure by controlling a pressure regulating valve 14, according to a control signal S4 output from an output sharing/pressure controlling unit 12. In this way, the generator can be operated in optimum condition with the highest efficiency, and the plant efficiency can be raised. |
