PURPOSE:To prevent the bending of a lightweight rotor by installing a reinforcing rib into the hollow part of the rotor having a flange which is made of Al alloy and fixed onto the both side parts of a cylindrical body made of Al alloy. CONSTITUTION:In the captioned rotor 1, a flange 5 which is made of Al-Si series Al alloy material and has a rotor shaft 4 which is made of iron such as SCM415 and fixed at the center part through press-fitting is fixed at the both edge parts of a rotor body 3 which is made of Al-Si series Al alloy material and has a vacant part 2. A reinforcing rib 11 is fixed at the center part of the vacant part 2 of the rotor body 3, and the rotor 3 is prevented from being bent by an external pressure.
