PURPOSE:To reduce light source irregularity to a test and set more test-pieces at a time by arranging a cylindrical internal wall and an external wall between a test-piece holding frame and a light source so that a convex gap is formed. CONSTITUTION:This testing device for light-resistance consists of the cylindrical internal wall 13A and external wall 13B which are arranged between the test- piece holding frame 12 and the light source 2A and at least either of which is so curved as to form the convex gap 13C, and liquid 14 is charged into said gap 13C. Consequently, test-pieces 6 fitted on the internal surface of said test-piece holding frame 12 are irradiated with nearly uniform arc light, and all set test- pieces 6 are tested under the influence of the same gravitational force, namely, the same influence of a flow of water drops formed dew condensation, etc., on surfaces of said test-pieces 6. Further, the length of the frame 12 can be increased, so the number of test-pieces 6 which can be set at a time on the same condition is increased. |
