PURPOSE:To balance the quantity of discharged fuel into each of cylinders by adjusting the diameter of an orifice provided on a passage for returning excess fuel from an accelerating nozzle when feeding said accelerating fuel from one accelerating pump to said accelerating nozzle provided on each carburetor of a compound carburetor. CONSTITUTION:Accelerating fuel is fed to an accelerating nozzle 13 provided on each carburetor 2 of a compound carburetor, from one accelerating pump 5 which is interlocked with a throttle valve 18 via a passage 11 and a fork part (a). The accelerating fuel pushes up a ball valve 12 and is discharged into a suction body from the orifice of an accelerating nozzle 13, while excess fuel is returned to a float chamber 4 through a ball valve 15, an orifice 16, a return pipe 17 and a confluent part (b). Difference in the quantity of fuel discharged into each carburetor due to the length of fuel passage and manufac ture error, can be easily balanced from the outside by adjusting the diameter of the orifice 16 in a return pipe line. |
