发明名称 CONTINUOUS OPTICAL AXIS DIRECTION MEASURING APPARATUS
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable continuous measurement of a long-sized sample by providing a means for moving a long-sized sample to be measured perpendicular to the orthgonal Nicol optical system to measure the intensity of transmission light while the sample is fed from one side of a case surrounding the optical system and discharged on the other side thereof. CONSTITUTION:A holder 11 having a sample 10 to be measured being set is inserted from one side of a case 40 containing an orthgonal Nicol optical system comprising a light source 1, polarizers 3a and 3b and a photo detector 4 along a guide rail 37 and discharged on the other side thereof while the intensity of transmission light is measured at positions along the length of the sample 10. A reference sample 20 delivered from the lot identical to the sample 10 is set on a holder 21 and rotated about the optical axis C with a control knob 65 while the intensity of transmission light is measured to determine the relationship thereof with the deviated angle from the optical axis. In addition, the deviated angle at positions of the sample 10 is determined by collating the intensity of transmission light of the sample 10 with that of the sample 20.
