OPTICAL DEMULTIPLEXER

摘要

PURPOSE:To compose an optical demultiplexer of an optical member which has an extremely simple structure by using a plane curve diffraction grating. CONSTITUTION:The plane curve diffraction grating 1 has curved grating grooves formed so as to have light convergence effect on the surface of a plane reflecting plate. Light consisting of three different-wavelength light components from an input optical fiber 2 is made incident on the plane curve diffraction grating 1 and wavelength-dispersed, and the respective different-wavelength light components are reflected at a different angle. They are converged by the plane curve diffraction grating and photodetected by output optical fibers 3-5.
