PURPOSE:To detect the amount of feeding accurately by an electric means, by judging whether the load current of the driving motor of a grain lifting machine exceeds a specified reference current value, detecting whether the grain is being fed, and multiplying the feeding time by the feeding amount per unit time of the grain lifting machine CONSTITUTION:A current transformer CT is connected to a power source circuit of a driving motor M of a grain lifting machine. A capacitor 16 is connected to the CT. The output of the capacitor is inputted to comparators 17 and 18 together with reference voltages V1 and V2. The outputs of the comparators are connected to a central processing unit 20. A digital input circuit 28 having feeding switch 29 and a feed finishing switch 30 is connected to an input port 21. A display circuit 26 having a display part 27 is connected to an output port 25. The ports 20 and 25, a memory 23 and a counter 24 are connected to an operation and control part 22. The voltage values, which correspond to the respective motor load currents when the maximum load is applied to the motor M and when the feeding work is performed, are set at voltages V1 and V2. The feeding time is obtained by the counter 24 and the feeding amount is computed.
