PURPOSE:To enable the load of a baggage to be dispersed and to facilitate the baggage handling work, by providing waist bands to be fixed around the waist of a worker and handling bands connected thereto, and further providing gripping parts at the ends of the handling bands. CONSTITUTION:A baggage handling outfit 1 is composed of a pair of bands crossed to each other, each band consisting of a waist band 2 to be fixed around the waist of a worker and a handling band 3 connected to the waist band 2. Each waist band 2 is provided with a shoulder pad 10 and a connecting fitting 11. For using the outfit, the waist bands 2 are fixed around the waist or the like such that the crossing point, namely an eyelet 9 is located on the back of a worker. The worker M then grips gripping parts 6 provided at the tips of handling bands 3 in his both hands, respectively, and in this condition lifts up a baggage. The gripping parts 6 are provided with a multiplicity of non-slip grooves. When such an outfit is used for lifting up a baggage, the load can be dispersed by the handling bands 3, and the baggage handling can be facilitated. |
