<p>A garment hanger bar for the trailer transportation of garments includes a tubular member having swing bars comprising rings rotatably mounted on the tubular member and an elongate rod joining the rings and spaced from the tubular member for the locking of a plurality of garment hangers thereon to prevent their removal during transportation. The tubular member has mounting elements which project into and are secured in vertical slots with a release bolt extending into the slot at one end. Upon retraction of the release bolt, the mounting member at that end may be removed from the slot, and the hanger bar thereby released from its mounting. In another embodiment, a heavy duty support bar of rectangular cross section is provided for supporting pallets. Pairs of mounting elements are provided at each end of the support bar.</p> |
