PURPOSE:To provide the titled lubricating oil having an excellent seizure preventing effect in the cold rolling of titanium sheet, consisting of a mineral lubricating oil, a beef tallow lubricating oil or palm oil and graphite powder having a specified particle size. CONSTITUTION:1-60wt% graphite powder composed of particles having a particle size of 100mum or below and contg. at least 50% particles having a particle size of 10mum or below, is added to a mineral lubricating oil, a beef tallow lubricating oil or palm oil to obtain a lubricating oil for the cold rolling of titanium sheet. The lubricating oil is applied to the titanium sheet in a coating weight of 0.2-1.0g/m<2>. |
