PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of light spots on the surface of a product tire by a method in which a green tire in which the surface of side wall is subjected to a fine grooving process is packed into a vulcanizing mold and vulcanized. CONSTITUTION:In the molding process of a green tire, a side tread constituent part 10 having many fine grooves (a) on its surface is set on the portion corresponding to the side wall portion S of the tire. Onthe portion corresponding to the bead portion B of the tire, the green tire porivded with a lower rim cushion constituent part 20 having many fine grooves (a) on the surface is heated through a vulcanizing mold for vulcanization to produce a product tire. The air between the surfaces of the side tread constituent part 10 and the lower rim cushion constituent part 20 and the inner surface of the vulcanizing mold is easily discharged to the outside through a vent hole provided in the vulcanizing mold from many fine grooves (a) in the early period of the vulcanizing process. As a result, the occurrence of light spots on the surface of the product tire can be exactly prevented. |
