PURPOSE:To manufacture efficiently a good-quality flocked article by adhering electrostatically a stable fiber provisionally to an adhesive layer after the thermomelting adhesive layer formed on a base material is cured, and then heating and melting the adhesive layer to plant the provisionally planted fiber into the base material by adhesion. CONSTITUTION:A thermomelting adhesive layer 9 of polyamide, etc. is formed on a base material 2, and a staple fiber 8 is electrostatically adhered provisionally to the adhesive layer 9 in an electrostatic flocking machine 1 after the adhesive layer 9 is cured. Then the adhesive layer 9 is heated and melted with a heating means 3, and the provisionally adhered staple fiber 8 is planted into the base material 2 by adhesion. Consequently, the flocking machine 1 is not contaminated with the adhesive, and the fiber can be efficiently and uniformly planted. In addition, the density of the flocked fibers can be increased, and the adhesive strength is also increased.
