PURPOSE:To provide an AC servo motor having high mechanical accuracy by machining a supporting face for a bearing member in a bracket with a laminated core as a reference in the state that the bracket is rigidly coupled and a portion necessary for mechanical accuracy such as an external mounting face. CONSTITUTION:Supporting faces 25a, 25c for bearing members 27, 28 in brackets 25, 26 and external mounting faces 25b, 25c for motor mounting parts 30a, 30b of a machine tool 30 are machined with the inner face of the laminated core 21 as a reference in the state that a laminated core 21 and the brackets 25, 26 are rigidly coupled by a bolt 24. Thus, the accumulation of the accuracy error upon coupling of the laminated core and the brackets can be prevented, thereby providing an AC servo motor having high mechanical accuracy. |
