PURPOSE:To improve durability of an ozone decomposing filter by providing a filter core coated with an ozone decomposing agent and constituted of air passing holes having a cellular structure with density changing stepwise from low density to high density in the direction from an air inlet side to an air outlet side. CONSTITUTION:The passage of air is divided equally to a front part and a back part arranging low density cells 8 having 500 cells per square inch to the upstream side of a filter case 7 and high density cells 9 having 800 cells per square inch to the downstream side of the filter case 7. The low density cell 8 and the high density cell 9 constitute a filter core 7 and housed in a space formed by separating a filter core into four sections with partitioning plate 7a and 7b crossing orthogonally in the filter case. By this constitution, ozone decomposing capacity of an ozone decomposing filter to be attached to an electrophotographic copying machine is increased contributing to miniaturization of the copying machine and to elevate the durability of the device. |
