PURPOSE:To prevent a roller from being locked at the sprocket position when a chain is not driven by providing movable stoppers in a chain conveyor coupling the long hole of a plate below a conveyed bed with the roller on a circulated and rotated chain to move the conveyed bed back and forth. CONSTITUTION:In a chain conveyor, a roller 4 is fitted to the side surface of the link plate of a chain 3 wound between sprockets 1, 2, this roller is inserted through the long hole 8 of a plate 7 fitted below a conveyed bed such as a manuscript bed, and the roller 4 is circulated to move the conveyed bed back and forth, and the long hole 8 is formed by symmetrically providing notches 8a, 8b on its upper and lower ends. In addition, movable stoppers 9, 10 are provided near the sprockets 1, 2 above and below the chain 3. These stoppers 9, 10 are provided so that the movement of the roller 4 can be blocked and the roller 4 does not reach (a), (b) points when the chain 3 is not driven and the conveyed bed is moved by hand. |
