PURPOSE:To obtain a reforming agent for dispersion properties of inorganic filler having excellent effect with a simple treating method by using a specified organic titanium compd. CONSTITUTION:A reforming agent for dispersion properties of inorganic filler consists of an organic titanium compd. shown by the following formula. Ti (OR)4-x[-(OR')n-OR'']x (wherein R is monovalent 1-8C hydrocarbon group, R' is bivalent 2-4C hydrocarbon group, R'' is monovalent 4-22C hydrocarbon group, x is 1-3 of a statistical mean value and n is 1-20 of a statistical mean value). The amount of said organic titanium compd. to be used is 0.1-5pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. inorganic filler. Calcium carbonate, kaolin and silica, etc. are used as the inorganic filler whose dispersion properties are reformed by the organic titanium comp. As the effect due to use of the organic titanium comp., for example, in paint or the like, build-up of luster and opacifying power, the decrease of viscosity and curtailment of solvent or the like are shown and in high-molecular comp. for fabrication, the increase of fluidity and packing ratio of the filler or the like is shown.
