<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound useful as drugs or an intermediate for synthesizing them, by reacting a specific aldehyde derivative with a Witting reagent, reacting optionally the reaction product with an organometallic compound, carrying out alkylation, deprotection, and hydrogenation. CONSTITUTION:A compound shown by the formula I (A is H; Y is single bond, or methylene, or vinylene; E' is H, OH, protected OH or E' and A are linked to form single bond; C=W is protected carbonyl) is reacted with a ylide compound shown by the formula II (X is group shown by the formula III or formula IV; R<1> is alkyl; R<2> and R<3> are H, or R<1>; Z<1> is Y except single bond) or a phophonate anion shown by the formula V (R is alkyl), to give a compound shown by the formula VI or formula VII. The compound shown by the formula VII is reacted with an organometallic compound or reducing agent, so that it is converted into a compound shown by the formula VIII. The compound shown by the formula VI or formula VIII is alkylated, hydroxy- and carbonyl-protecting groups are removed, and optionally hydrogenated, to give the desired compound shown by the formula IX (Z is Y; Q is ethylene, or vinylene; E is H, or OH).</p> |
